Head of Business Development & Partnerships
Overview
An edtech company helping Indians build careers in Japan, with language training, skilling and transition support, is hiring a growth leader to own business development, partnerships, sales and marketing.
Location & Work Mode
Bangalore-based role.
5 days in office, with Saturday work from home (6-day working week).
Compensation
Fixed CTC: ₹40–50 LPA.
Performance incentives on every enrollment.
Key Responsibilities
Own the business development and partnerships strategy, and set and deliver enrollment and revenue targets.
Build and scale enrollment pipelines through direct sales, channel partners, institutional tie-ups and strategic alliances.
Identify, negotiate and close partnerships with educational institutions, corporates, recruitment firms and other ecosystem players.
Lead go-to-market and marketing initiatives to increase awareness, lead generation and conversions.
Build and manage high-trust relationships with partners, senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
Build and lead a high-performing growth team, and set up processes, playbooks and systems that scale.
Track funnel metrics, conversion rates and revenue, and report regularly to the founders.
Must Have
Proven track record of driving measurable revenue and enrollment outcomes.
Experience building partnerships and channels from scratch and scaling them.
Experience solving 0→1 and 1→10 problems in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Comfort working in a target-driven, incentive-linked role.
Tier-1 undergraduate or postgraduate education preferred.
Good to Have
Experience leading a growth, sales or partnerships team.
Background in study-abroad, overseas careers, language training or skilling.
Exposure to Japan or Asia-Pacific markets.
