Overview
A Series B impact-tech startup in the social impact sector is hiring a Strategy & Operations Lead – Category to drive strategy, commercialization, and growth for key volunteering offerings. The role involves category ownership, P&L management, GTM strategy, and cross-functional execution to build scalable, revenue-generating solutions. This is an opportunity to shape differentiated offerings in a B2B corporate social responsibility platform with $25M in funding.
The role reports to senior leadership and focuses on strengthening existing offerings while driving top-of-funnel demand generation and commercialization.
Location & Work Mode
Based in Bangalore.
Compensation
CTC of approximately 35LPA fixed.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end performance of volunteering offerings, including revenue, margins, and scalability.
Define pricing, cost structures, and unit economics to ensure profitability.
Track performance metrics and optimize revenue and margins continuously.
Develop positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials for offerings.
Partner with GTM teams to drive demand generation and deal conversion.
Define and institutionalize category launch processes and success criteria.
Co-create activity development processes with the Experience Design team.
Document reusable playbooks for category launches and offering development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategy, execution, and customer experience.
Drive execution to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Must Have
Build or launched a category
Experience in strategy consulting, category management, or founder/co-founder roles in 0-to-1 environments.
Experience owning or contributing to P&L, pricing, or revenue-driven initiatives.
Strong storytelling and communication skills for sales and marketing contexts.
Good to Have
Customer-centric mindset with a deep understanding of client value drivers.
Strategic and execution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
